A-Finity Patterns is Helsinki-based design studio established by Anna Alanko and Aoi Yoshizawa. They are constantly exploring the possibilities of textile as a medium, both in fashion as in interior, digging deeper into surface, material and colour.
Contemporary patterns, sparkling colours and subtle textures are their core business. They look for patterns that tell stories of our everyday life and dreamy adventures. Finnish and Japanese simplicity is mixed with vibrant illustrations, playful colours, an adventurous spirit and charming humour.
They have just released Santa Fe, a mini collection of wallpaper for Feathr, a Finnish company that wants to change the world of wall coverings. Following their baseline “More Art, Less Decoration”, they work with creative, independent, original artists and designers to create patterns and prints.
